They are counting every nation using Kabul Airport to evacuate their own Diplomatic staff and Citizens.
There is only one strip available at the airport. Every country is getting 30-50 mins slot to evacuate their people.
Just now came back from the bank. Things are really bad in Silicon Valley. Porsche SUV, BMW, all queued up for Food Harvest (free fruits and Vege for distressed families) from town community services. The majority of cars were 2-3 yrs old.
The 97% referred to here is Afghans, not other nationalities.
