Not a very large percentage have been Americans, from what I gather. It would be interesting to hear the exact number.
I'm not sure if they are hiding the number of Americans left over there or are just totally inept. I would think that there must be some record of in-country ex-pats. Surely the companies hiring them must have payroll records, or visas or a list for insurance if they get killed, or something. Generally you get paid a premium for the number of days in-country, so there must be some pretty tight travel records. I just can't imagine that you go in & out without any record or without being on some list.

Biden peeps keep referring to thousands of “refugee” status Afghans that will need resettling in America.
My guess is very few of those on the planes are American or SIV holders.
