“ I think it was rushed way too fast, both for EUA as well as this final approval. I could maybe see rushing it if we were facing something like ebola (that’s the nasty stuff, isn’t it?) but not for this”

Yeah, why is emergency authorization needed with a 99% survival rate. AND with cheap, tested, available, and successful treatments like ivermectin and HCQ.

Now the important stuff - cobbler! What did you mean, “ each person could make the cobbler as juicy or dry as they wanted.”? I like the idea of cooking the peaches less!

I’ll see if I can explain it. LOL

The link I posted had a video showing them making the recipe. If you watch when they’re pouring the peaches onto the batter, there’s lots of syrup in the peaches. Mom didn’t like juicy cobbler; she preferred it more cake-y. So, she would follow the recipe but when it came time to put the peaches on the batter, she would use a slotted spoon to take the peaches out of the syrup and put on the batter.

She didn’t want to waste the syrup, so she would take the leftover syrup in the pot and thicken it (can’t remember if she cooked it down or put a thickening agent in it). When the cobbler was done, the eater could add however much peach sauce they wanted on their serving.

Never saw anybody else make it that way, but everybody always ate it!

Sometimes you’d run out of cobbler before you run out of sauce; in that case you can pour it over vanilla ice cream. 😁
