DIL came by liberalism naturally being raised in a country with socialized medicine and no Bill of Rights.
She hung on to 2 apartments she owned for a long time because it galled her to have to give the government about 1/2 the profits.
So she doesn’t think everything in Australia is super.
She doesn’t push any lib views on anyone.
Son started trending left in his early 20’s, campaigned for Hitlery, which we have joked about.
They were in Australia the whole Trump years and didn’t get to see 1st hand how great things were.
They just paid attention to the LSM and thought he was terrible.
