As I said in my post “for the most part Aussie family is being kind of quiet, going along with what the government tells them, one posted these 2 things.”

I would image the person who wrote it is an Aussie, not an American but I agree with you, “Trusting the government in this situation is not a good idea based on all the well documented information about it.”
