I still have a half bushel of the cling free peaches, hopefully we just eat those they are too good to freeze or can. I think the apples will last until after the floors. I’m not doing the floors though, I’m just going to sit back and watch a crew come in and do their magic. Sadly they likely won’t speak any English.
I made a fresh peach pie tonight, took it to the meeting and everybody liked it. Marie Callender’s used to have something like that. So I figured out a copycat recipe, I cheat and use Peach Jell-O in the glaze. So even peaches that aren’t real flavorful get a peachy flavor.
Mmmmm.....nothing like GOOD, fresh peaches.
That pie sounds wonderful. Wish I could come over for some pie and coffee, in the morning :-)
Well, maybe not with the workers there.
I bet it was a hit, at your meeting.
Did you freeze any of the peaches? I put some up, in the freezer, last year...but....they weren’t that great to begin with. I need to take a bag out and see what they look/smell/taste like.
Yum, yum, yum, sounds delicious.
Where’s mine?
