IMHO the FBI admitting there was “scant evidence” of a grand conspiracy on the part of Trump supporters on January 6 is a CYA operation.
They have been throwing ridiculous charges at Patriots arrested and then offering them plea deals of much lesser charges.
There are many who have said no deal, want my day in court.
Discovery would not be good at all for the FBI because Jan. 6th was not because of failed intel by the FBI but because Jan. 6th was an FBI operation, just like the planned attack on Gov. Whitmer.
Can’t take the chance of THAT coming out, after all, they have achieved one goal, getting good Patriots branded “domestic terrorists!”
