I LOVE fresh peaches and cream, yummy!
I could eat my weight when I was a child but let my mom open up a jar of her canned peaches and I would gag trying to eat them.
Never could figure that out.
Well there must be something very intoxicating about peaches and cream.....they named a corn after it!

What was wrong with them? One of my bushels was a type of canning peach. Never heard of it before but they said it actually taste better after canning or baking and keeps the firm shape. Where the other peaches sort of get mushy when you can them.
I just made a cobbler with it and they taste actually better after baking them than before. Very strange.
