Pintos, great northern, navy, black beans that are already cooked and then canned.
As opposed to canned green beans.

“Might be a Southern thing.” Speaking of Southern things, my husband loves fried yellow crookneck squash. So he planted some in our vegetable patch.
Well, we have had an unusually hot and dry summer. Apparently crooknecks lo-o-o-ve heat and have taken over one end of the patch. I am literally up to my ankles in yellow squash.
So he is a happy guy. As for me, I hate to fry food. A little less happy.
