That building sure came in handy. She also has two good-sized greenhouses to grow some greens, etc. all winter. Really, they are in a good place. She worries now because the bank for farmers (owned by the Federal government) is starting to put through some WOKE requirements for their lending to hinge on. They are clearly trying to get rid of raising animals.
I’m getting the urge to build a storage building, on our property...and, to order a couple of (MORE) freezers... 😱
I was reading over some Russia 1930’s history notes ... and, the farmers (Kulaks) ... just a depressing read.
Praying *that* history does NOT repeat itself.

I don’t have a good storage option for animal feed/grain. It is so humid that everything gets moldy so I can’t stock up as much as I’d like. I’ve been looking for non working chest freezers or steel drums to store stuff in.
I don’t think I’ve heard of someone more prepared. Now, you need some way to protect it all. When people are hungry their consciences won’t matter.
