We had four days of 90+, and that broke on Sunday.
Lots of humidity, but that is normal for this time of year.
Traffic has been brutal this summer, but that is good—lots of business for the stores and restaurants here. It is a beach area, so we locals know the back roads the visitors do not.
Just a few more weeks to Labor Day, and a return to normality.
One big change—new home construction is exploding—the secret is out about southern DE. Low property taxes and no sales tax means folks are retiring in the Northeast and heading here.
I am a NJ transplant, been here 15 years.

I know what it is like to pray for Labor Day and a return to normal whatever that is these days.
The traffic has been just horrendous here too, but like where you live, we need the visitors for our restaurants, stores and cabin rentals.
You do need to screen those new people moving in, NO BRINGING YOUR LIB VIEWS AND VOTING with you.
