Libby has Anne of Green Gables - I never read it, thank you for the suggestion. I think something that is set in a different time and place is a great idea to escape the nightmarish reality we are seeing here.

Oddly enough, I’ve never read (or watched) any of the Anne of Green Gables books/movies. Have no idea why that popped in my head.
