He did talk about how it was -6 out there. And it was only November. Very interesting, I didn’t know raccoons did that for the winter. Looks like he has them in good shape for it then. He must spend a fortune on those Critters, especially the medications. I was amazed that they let him touch them, he has them very tame.
Me either; maybe they stay out longer down here where it’s warmer?
I heard the -6; I assumed he was talking Celsius since it’s Canada. I’m guessing that’s about 20 degrees Fahrenheit?
I had a friend in California that had 4 cats, had a nice apartment by a creek, and she fed a bunch of raccoons. She left town and asked me to feed them all.
First day, I put the cat food for the raccoons on the end of the porch opposite of 5he door. I figured out that wasn’t too smart because there were so many raccoons that showed up i couldn’t believe it. So I just tip toed my way through them, and next days put the food by the door.
She was a liberal that knew everything, so I tried to delicately tell her that she wasn’t doing those raccoons any favors by feeding them. There were lots of babies that were being taught that her patio is where you go to eat. Anyway she moved back to Portland and I hoped the raccoons found food on their own.
