We had all of our hardwood flooring delivered yesterday, going to let it acclimate in the house for a couple weeks before they install it.
There were two guys that were here to unload it from the truck. One of them was just huffing and puffing. He said ever since he took the vaccine, he has been short of breath. Pretty awful when he depends on being in good shape to do his job.
The driver of the truck noticed my trump sign inside the house. I had them outside but took them down when the roofers came because they were all Hispanic. Didn’t want them not putting the roof on right. Anyway he couldn’t say enough good things about Trump. On my way to buy Ivermectin yesterday I stopped to say hi to our new neighbor at the bottom of the driveway. I told them how we escaped California and he started talking about Trump and the stolen election. I’m so grateful to be here, I don’t know how we got so lucky. By all accounts we should still be in California, but circumstances converged to make moving early possible. Hubby did have to retire temporarily but found a job making even more money, how lucky is that in an area with high unemployment and low paying jobs. But he hates it. Can’t have everything I guess :-)
