And it’s especially good news because we didn’t get past the bottom of the driveway before she started meowing and trying to get out of the carrier. All I could think was what a fun trip it will be to Asheville with this one. She’s nothing like her brother. So I’m relieved we can skip that drive.

Now I just need to figure out how to make life easier for a blind cat. I actually had three blind kittens once. They did remarkably well. But that’s because that was all they knew. Cotton’s hampered by going from sighted to unsighted. I can’t even imagine how frustrating that is.

Rusty vwent blind in one eye and then the other. He got lost a lot at first, but then he got around good. I didn’t move anything much and if he got confused I’d just call his name so he’d run to me.
