Mayor Muriel Bowser announced all Washington, D.C. residents over the age of two will be required to wear face masks indoors in D.C. regardless of vaccination status.
The requirement will go into effect at 5 a.m. Saturday, according to Bowser's Thursday announcement.
The city ended its mask requirement for vaccinated people in May, and all residents in June, after having one of the most strict mask mandates in the nation.

President Biden says we must all wear Masks indoors regardless of whether we have been vaccinated. Then, he goes to Pennsylvania where neither he nor any single member of his staff or Secret Service wears a mask.

There’s no question in my mind that the Democrats were starting to lose the “narrative.” People were starting to feel “normal” again, the Arizona audit was nearly complete, and more of the country every day was noticing Joe Biden’s accelerating dementia.
So they made the calls to the CDC, WHO and every other alphabet agency to turn back the clock to a year ago.
Is this the same Mayor Bowser who just realized she will need to hire at least 170 police officers for Wash. DC.?
This, after badgering, browbeating and budget-starving available the police in her district?
Civil Rights Atty. Leo Terrell says Bowser’s sudden plan to hire more officers is ‘an admission of failure’.
And when Peppermint Patty was called on it she said it was because where he was in PA is not a Covid hot spot but DC is.
