The agreement of other states is no more required than the agreement of the other kingdoms of the British Union. We didn't need approval from Wales, Scotland, Ireland or England to exercise the right of self determination. We needed a war, which we one. The South tried the same solution, and they lost. I guess they just didn't want it as badly as the founders did?
The Supreme Court made that crap up because they were kowtowing to the political winds of the time.
When it comes to making crap up who better than you would know? Kind of like all those powers the vice president has to reject electoral votes that you made up out of whole cloth.

George III was not as willing to tolerate so much bloodshed as was Lincoln. He certainly could have won had he been willing to kill so many people as he could have done.

Who better to recognize made up crap than myself? I'm sure there are others out there, but I am pretty good at recognizing made up crap. The secret is in researching a subject until you actually know something about it.

Confederates did not have a Charles Gravier controlling Louis XVI's actions along with the Ottoman Empire and eventually Spain, Portugal, ect... Without that support, the Founders would have got their asses kicked then bodies hung.
Moral of revolutions, get outside foreign help.
