This is the first time in our nation’s history that we have as a president a man who is utterly iincompetent.
We gave up Trump for this? Why?
Trump won as an outsider, not playing by the politician’s rules, something they hate. As an outsider he was naïve concerning the deep state and how deep it was. That appears to be his downfall, not taking the deep state seriously and not moving fast enough to neutralize it. Even his own “party” did not support him during his first two years. Look at all the programs that are still being funded despite their utter failure and usefulness.
Kelly Ann Conway, his campaign manager, once sent out an email asking which federal agencies should be abolished. I responded, but not one has. Consider the Legal Services Corporation, an entity that sued the government to renew its funding and stay in existence, and won!!! There is absolutely no reason this agency continues to exist. And NPR, National Public Radio, an entity devoted to biting and besmirching the hand that feeds it.
But that is only two examples, there are myriads more. Unless there is massive change, we have surpassed our existence as a nation. The future is ominous, foreboding, but I pray I am wrong—as all of us should.
