I read somewhere the other day that the CDC is counting hospitalizations in vaccinated vs unvaccinated ppl all the way back to January. So when they say 99% of hospitalizations are of unvaxxed patients, that could technically be true if they’re using figures from January through July. Of course there would be more deaths among the unvaxxed because the vaccine wasn’t widely available yet. But when the public hears Fauci et. al., say this, they assume they’re referring to hospitalizations in the last week or two. If that’s really what they’re doing, it’s disingenuous and deliberately misleading.
Not surprising.
