Let’s say Larry Elder gets in and becomes governor, you still have a liberal house and senate majority that can override any veto.
It’s a start but little if anything will get done. The state, like every liberal state needs a massive enema.
Agreed. Larry Elder can exercise the veto and bang the bully pulpit -- and he should do that -- but to effect real change, he would need to strike to kill. He should begin by waging war on public corruption. Surround himself with serious, take-no-prisoners prosecutors -- not celebrity whores addicted to the talk shows, but mean, tough, "I want to send people to jail" types. Release everything a governor can release on shady contracting, sweetheart deals and political favoritism, turn the lawyers loose, and practice scorched earth lawfare.
