The severe rainfall in Henan caused a major flood, resulting in heavy casualties in Zhengzhou and other places, which was officially declared as a disaster "once in a thousand years". However, was the flood really a purely natural disaster, or was it another man-made disaster? What tactics are being used by Chinese Communist Party officials to maintain stability and to shirk responsibility?
On July 20, many places in northern Henan Province were devastated by a huge rainstorm. The Zhengzhou city was completely flooded and paralyzed. Videos on social networking sites showed many residents swept away by the water and a large number of vehicles floating on the surface; three subways in Zhengzhou city were also submerged by tumbling floodwaters, with the deepest depth exceeding 2 meters.
Zhengzhou Jingguang Road Tunnel, a 4 km long tunnel with two-way six lanes, was filled with flood water in five minutes during the rush hour on July 20! Hundreds of cars were trapped in the tunnel and the real casualties are a mystery.
The flooding was not only a natural disaster, but also a man-made disaster by Chinese Communist officials.
The Changzhuang Reservoir, located 2 kilometers from Zhengzhou, is the drinking water source for the Zhengzhou people. The super heavy rainfall and upstream water caused the reservoir water level to rise sharply, and this reservoir built in 1958 was reinforced twice, but there was still a risk of flooding.

If it’s a natural disaster then the government owes no compensation. So, the CCP waits until after dark and opens the gates to dams to release pressure and prevent rupture. Then, they declare it a natural disaster. That way, they don’t have to pay for all the damage, which runs into the equivalent of billions of dollars.
just one more chapter in the “depopulate by any means necessary” book
Since China is a totalitarian country, where the government can do whatever they want, does the Chinese government really have to take such steps to declare a natural disaster?
It’s Trump’s fault.
I was looking at some uTubes of what’s going on in China and they are terrifying. One showed people trapped on subway cars in water up to their chests while a muddy torrent, clearly several feet higher, can be seen rushing past them through the windows.. Another guy was trapped in his car while the flood rushed by halfway up his windshield. Like a disaster movie only real! Yet, China claims only a few dozen deaths.
Epstein didn’t kill himself
Mcafee didn’t kill himself
TRUMP WON
Did the street drains empty into the tunnel ?
Not all that dis-similar to how the Democrat Party and the Party Media is acting currently.
(Love her accent)
Zhengzhou is a city of 10 million plus residents (2019), thus exceeding the largest USofA City, New York City, at 8.25 million. For note, there are only 10 domestic cities that exceed 1 million residents by the 2020 Census! In comparison, the largest city in the Peoples Republic of China is Shanghai at 26.9 million with Beijing at 20.3 million!
Few of us here realize that population fact and its related impact on how small localized disasters can have a significant death toll. Zhengzhou is on the Yellow River in central-north China, roughly parallel with the south tip of the Korean Peninsula and Japan’s south-most islands.
In most civilized countries, the staff on site would have been able to stop the trains and close access into the tunnel.
But not in a CCP managed nightmare of a country. The death toll is closer to 10,000 than it is 100.
It’s cute that you think there are processes for moving water like that in China. There are not.
The China number is dated and probably larger now, but again the USA's 10 metro areas over one million population, China has 163 cities that size or larger.
1) Reports say the CCP govt opened the dam floodgates without notifying residents
2) the death count in the tunnel alone has been reported at over 6,300 people. There are live videos on twatter of the tunnel traffic as the water rose, and of the aftermath of twisted wreckage
“Since China is a totalitarian country, where the government can do whatever they want, does the Chinese government really have to take such steps to declare a natural disaster?”
It’s a game. The CCP is trying to create an image that the people are free, that they have rights. So, it tries not to ram it down the people’s throat that they have the same value as socks. The CCP is terrified of social unrest. There have been numerous riots, the news of which is heavily censored. The budget for the police is greater than the budget for the military which pays for submarines, aircraft and the army. That’s a LOT of police, who are armed, but certainly not with nuclear weapons and stealth jets. To know who rules you, find out who you can not make fun of. Yet, at the same time, the CCP is trying to appear innocuous. It might be akin to a dysfunctional family where everyone pretends the father is not a violent abusive bastard even with the father. Especially with the father. Because nobody wants to “trigger” the father’s abuse. So, the people complain about the treatment they receive, and the government claims it’s not happening. The people want to vent but they generally know when to stop and just bend over and take the abuse. The alternative is getting a visit from the police.
Incidentally, the police use execution vans. They go to your home, pick you up, strap you in, inject you and then drop off the corpse at the reception center. (Nice, eh?) See below.

(Oh, they’re looking into exporting those vans. Coming to a community near you soon.)
Devastating footage on twitter. Interesting comments from the Chinese propogandists.
“Death toll is only 25. Miracle! China lauded by international community for handling climate change and flooding.”
Another:
“Death toll would be higher if not for brave Chinese former commando!” Granted - he saved 5 people or so and is a hero, but the headline makes it sound like it would have been 100,000’s dead instead of 10,000.
Does this rainfall affect the watershed for the Three Gorges Dam?
China would be wise to put their ambitions of global conquest aside for a few decades and concentrate on proper drainage.
The flooding was not only a natural disaster, but also a man-made disaster by Chinese Communist officials.

Making man-made disasters since 1950; its what they do best.
