Slip and fall is not a choice I made, it’s a pooled risk. Some people are going to slip and fall, at a predictable rate over time, and it’s included in the cost of insurance.
But getting sick from Covid is, in effect, a choice these people made.
Have you got sick from the virus?
I haven’t.
Otherwise, it’s almost the same argument.
Noone made you take a shower.
You CHOSE to take a shower knowing there is a risk of injury or even death.
But you decided to chance it.
Getting heart disease and cancer from buying junk food with food stamps, while being covered by Medicaid, is also a choice people make.
Where is your anger about that?
“But getting sick from Covid is, in effect, a choice these people made.”
Very bad logic. 99% don’t get sick in the first place, and getting sick isn’t a choice.
