You could be right. What sticks in my mind is Pres. Trump's phrase that "Sometimes it takes more courage to do nothing". That phrase, coming on top of Pence's supposed "betrayal" just a couple of hours after meeting with Trump, & Trump's post-meeting statement that he & Pence were "on the same page" (paraphrasing), has always struck me as odd.
I saw that quoted yesterday on some Telegram channel or someplace and looked in vain for it later to find the source. Do you know source? That is very telling. "You're watching a movie". Trump was involved in TV shows, wrestling stuff - he is a showman on top of all his other incredible attributes. He knows how to put on a show - the Greatest Show on Earth! I am sure everyone will have a lot of surprises once the truth is made public. Good idea not to be wedded to any particular theories or "this is a good guy/this is a bad guy". I have my views but many could be wrong. I await....

Yes. And Trump doesn’t chide the crowd when they boo Pence… but he doesn’t egg them on, either. Something is odd here.
