I agree with you. I shake my head in amazement when I see the huge crowds protesting in other countries and compare that to the few who bother to show up at protests here in Raleigh. I think we have had such a wonderful life in America that too many are just complacent. Sadly we stand to lose more than other nations have had in their best of times.

America has few or no mask mandates or restrictions on movements. You can travel anywhere in America and most of you don’t have to wear masks. People outside America are protesting the limitations on their bodily freedoms - masks are still required, some can’t gather in large groups, businesses are still restricted in their operations, movement inside a country and outside to neighbouring provinces or countries is limited. If you were still enduring those same restrictions, there might be more people protesting in the streets of the United States. I’m not sure Americans are more complacent; they may simply be more free, and therefore content, at the moment.
