Anybody else in Phoenix hear that lightning strike right around 8:45pm? Scared the crap out of me. It sounded like a freaking missile strike! And what was that “wangwangwannnnggggg!” Noise? Did Bezos crash to earth?

Hi Petey, No it’s still raining, so I haven’t been outside to look around. Lightning hit something here in my neighborhood, I’m pretty sure. Nothing on the news about it, but it was a huge crack and then followed a long, loud metallic sound. Have you ever heard a cable snap and whip around? It was sort of like that. So I don’t know if a utility wire snapped or if it hit one of the metallic light poles and caused it to whip back and forth, but it was LOUD. We never lost power though. Crazy night and looks like more of it on the way. We need the rain though!
