Does anyone know what kinds of covid tests are out there?
I know someone who is possibly going to be face with a work mandate for the vax or regular testing.
I know the stupid swab jabbed all the way up your nose into the sinus is bad.
It would be best if there was a test that only required you to spit on it or swab the mouth rather than a blood draw.
There is a ‘rapid test’ but the CDC is recalling it very soon or has already recalled it. It swabs the mouth and results are same day.
It’s likely they’ll be another rapid test because you would otherwise have employees going to work without knowing if they are ill or keeping them home for days before they get a result to clear them.
I’ve been tested four times. Three because of medical procedures and the last one a month ago because family insisted. The last test was a large q-tip and you just had to roll it around inside your nostrils, yourself while they watched, for ten seconds each side. No sinus cavity involved! So there is a more comfortable version out there.
