DH has a Katadyn (sp?) portable filter which is good for camping, traveling etc but doesn’t have much output, compared to Berks. One reason I like Berks is the filters last so long.

Does RO require water pressure?

Yes, it does. The portable RO units I linked are electric and have an
internal pump to provide the pressure.

I like them because they measure the total dissolved solids of the
incoming AND the outgoing filtered water. (And they work!)

They need power, though.

Does RO require water pressure?


Not sure if it requires it to make the RO water per se, but ours is held in a pressurized tank in the cabinet below the sink, so that the spigot up above will deliver it.
