H3RC, as strangely as it is named - just read that without the '3', is the container ship named Evergiven, owned by Evergreen. Details here. Click on Track at this link.

Look up 'Evergreen' in the Secret Service Codenames, and it represents HRC.

This is the ship that completely stopped Suez traffic for a few weeks. It was rumoured to have contraband related to child trafficking - adrenochrome, body parts... perhaps even live children. Nothing public so far.

I never made the connection between the “code” and the ship, whose name I am familiar with, and the mess it created for shipping!

Thank you for cluing me in. Dud we ever figure out if the rumors had any merit, or were we just being yanked around?

Hard to trust any info these days.

(and not just any shipping company, but one linked to the anti-China political party
— that’s the “green” in “evergreen” — they are pro green-party, vs the “blue” KMT party)
