There’s always two sides, but Mike probably knows he’s the heart of the show, he feels like he made his friend Frank some money, and now he wants his brother to get more of a payday and maybe some fame. He probably sees it as helping take care of his nieces too.
I used to see Mike when I met a friend for lunch at Thayer’s in Joliet. He seemed to always keep to himself, very quiet, never with anyone.

Mike was and always has been the primary personality on the show. Frank was just a friend and useful sidekick. He can come up with no banter by bringing others in on trips with him.
