This is bizarre. I thought 100% of them would be vaccinated in the first round. This is asking for a malpractice suit.

Younger workers do not want the jab because they are in their child bearing years. Too risky. Others have immune problems, etc. I don’t blame them for not taking it.

Also, it is getting harder and harder for nursing homes to find workers.

Shouldn’t we all be dead? We’re all unvaxxed. I haven’t worn a mask aside from visiting the pharmacy this whole time. Shouldn’t we be dead? If COVID is so scary why am I able to walk around with such disregard? Do we just have super powers? Or maybe COVID is just bullshit.

The vaccinated are not supposed to be capable of getting any sort of serious COVID-19.

Of course the nursing homes want all their employees vaccinated--not their problem if there are horrible side effects or the vax is ineffective--but as you say it keeps the lawyers happy.

The reason they can't do it is discussed in the thread. Nursing home employees are not paid that well, turn over a lot, are in high demand, and will just walk in large numbers if a mandated vaccine is corporate policy.

If they want a fully vaccinated staff they will have to raise wages much higher to compensate the employees for being medical test subjects.
