IIRC, the animals died due to exposure to a “wild” variant (think Delta variant) or due to acquired immune deficiency disease.

That is why I won’t take the vaccine. While the risk of an immediate reaction is possible (enlarged heart, etc.) my concern is the long term affects when exposed to a variant of Covid-19.
