Believe it or not, my sixth great-grandmother (Sarah Vars) was a direct descendant of the liaison between James IV (Stewart) of Scotland and a mistress named Margaret Drummond...AND... she (Sarah Vars) married my sixth great-grandfather (Jonathan Macomber) whose mother was a direct descendant of Edward I and his Plantagenet predecessors through his second wife.
Of course, that and five bucks will get me a cup of coffee at Starbucks (maybe). But still...
