I don't have a lot of hope that the rest of the population will wake up. Their entire world view is so different from ours, I can only shake my head in amazement.
I just got off the phone with sister #3 and she swears that the jab was sold as similar to a regular flu vaccine and breakthru cases were always expected. She doesn't believe that the VAERS database exists, let alone that it is run by the CDC. And, no, she is not interested in looking anything up. She would like to go visit sister #4 but is afraid of giving her the Delta variant, even though sister #4 has been jabbed, and both are feeling well.
The Arizona election was not stolen, that's what the Arizona Republic told her, and the Republicans need to give up the audits for the good of the country. Biden won and we are the ones who are tearing this country apart.

You occupy different worlds with two opposing world views. Mental synchronicity is not possible. If it’s stressful, minimize contact and be politely aloof when contact is necessary. Talk about gardens and what the kids are doing only. As soon as other topics come up, your pot on the stove is suddenly boiling over, the dog is peeing in your shoe, your doorbell is ringing, a hornet just flew into your blouse ... “Gotta go! Love you. Bye.” You’ll train her to stay off the forbidden and controversial topics. Peace will ensue.
I have a hard-left sister. A trump hater (though she liked him when he was building things and she lived in New York). Hard to believe, given the way the left has proceeded in tearing this country down, that anybody would follow them. But that sister does. And I haven’t spoken to her in well over a year. Never intend to either.

She will sever all ties with you. I am watching that happen to me right now. If someone’s beliefs are so fragile that they have to destroy relationships rather than have a rational discussion, then they need to examine more than just their beliefs about Covid.

Definitely hardened viewpoints on both sides. Probably why I don’t discuss politics even with my sisters. I don’t want to hear any nonsense. And I don’t want to bite my tongue off.
The problem is, we are right. And Biden is a criminal beholden to China. They are all treasonous and if allowed to continue will take us to a point of no return.
I again, hate sounding like a pupperdon’t, but I was thinking that one of the reasons we don’t amass in the streets is because once we commit, we won’t lose. We tend to temper ourselves. It’s a good thing, but I’m afraid at some point, there might not be a turning back.
