In a Reuters tweet, it reported that “Two U.S. sources tell Reuters that the #BidenAdministration is expected later today to announce the start of ‘#OperationAlliedRefuge’ to evacuate Afghan SIV applicants. Sources say it will make use of civilian chartered aircraft.”
An earlier Reuters tweet noted that “Flights to evacuate Afghan immigration visa applicants to the United States will begin in the last week of July,” according to a senior administration official.
