They have been doing this to us a lot longer than we realize.
A while back there was a link to an article on one of our Q threads stating that the Republicans were the ones who started this mess. In 2000 the Democrats tried low-tech vote fraud – ballot box stuffing – in Florida, and the Republicans had to grab the election back, which they did. In 2002 the Republicans developed their own high-tech vote fraud.
On Election Night 2002 the VNS satellite uplinks failed all at once, and votes had to be tabulated by hand. I suggested the NSA probably pulled this off. You may remember that James Carville had predicted a significant Democrat pickup that night, and when the Republicans made gains instead, he put a trash can over his head to our general merriment. But Carville may have been right. The Republicans may have stolen a few seats that cycle.
On Election Night 2004 it all boiled down to Ohio. There were rumors that the Bush campaign had the FBI document the usual Democrat ballot box stuffing in certain cities. According to these rumors, Karl Rove told Mary Beth Cahill that if Kerry contested Ohio in civil court, the Bush campaign was prepared to contest several states in criminal court with the arrest of Democrat operatives in those cities.
There were also rumors that the Bush campaign tampered with the electronic voting machines at the server level in four states: Texas, California, Florida and Ohio. We at FR laughed those claims to scorn, but maybe we shouldn’t have.
The article on the earlier Q thread stated that after 2004 the Democrats got their own high-tech vote fraud machine in gear. This means that since 2002, every election at every level is suspect to some degree.
It stands to reason that at some point the Democrat establishment and the Republican establishment worked out an arrangement to fix elections. This permitted the two political establishments to meld their interests with the Deep State. After all, the Republicans do their best fund raising when they are in the minority, which permits them to milk their Chamber of Commerce buddies.
The arrival of Trump threatened this arrangement. He was the bacillus that entered the body politic, and both Democrat and Republican antibodies rushed to the site of the infection to stamp it out.
My own personal suspicion is that neither Bush nor Obama won a second term, that Trump’s 2016 victory was far greater in magnitude, and that his 2020 victory was both a personal landslide and a wave election that benefitted all Republicans.
