The problem with the exploding gas tank explanation is how do you explain all the witness testimonies about the missile trails?

Do they know exactly what a missile trail looks like? Do you? I don't.

They (multiple witnesses) saw something headed from the ground to the plane, then the plane exploded. Their best explanation was a missile trail. Maybe it was something else. To many saw to ignore. They saw what they saw.
