I’ve already not returned to NYC, >30 years running.
I was once engaged to a girl in Brooklyn, and dated one from the Bronx, and would get together with a pal from Queens and go to Mass at St. Agnes in Manhattan. I don't miss NYC and haven't been back in 25 years.
