As it turned out, my sciatica symptoms (which make great rhymes) were actually due to the piriformis muscle knotting up and impinging the sciatic nerve, resulting in sciatica symptoms.
It no longer hurts to sitica
cause it ain’t on the fritzica
But when it was acting up, it was no picnica.
