I think the top soccer players make the most money, especially when you factor in endorsements.
The big clubs like the NBA pay the big stars “Stupid Money”.
Barcelona is on the verge of bankruptcy. They need to unload some of their big stars’ contracts.
The NBA collective bargaining agreement has a provision that allows for the reduction in pay if the league has a significant reduction in revenues. That happened last year, and is sure to be a big issue next season.
That was impressive. They are all channeling Pavarotti and Caruso.
Well this pre game show is pushing the envelope in some direction. Enjoy the game everyone.
I don’t do pre-game shows. I just tune in when the game starts.
Basically this is Puma vs. Nike. Since we hate Nike with a passion....go Puma!
ENGLAND GOAL
Dangit!! Come on Italy!
Great image of Prince William and son.
I gotta admit the ref in pink adds some colour.
England has tremendous speed at the outside forward and wingback positions. Italy’s two center-backs are old. They will not be able to keep up with England speed, and just wait until England subs in two outside forward, who may be even faster.
England had another good drive. Sterling just a step behind at the Italian goal.
I'm 1/2 Norman English and 1/4 Neapolitan Italian, so I was twice as happy that England scored than if Italy had scored first 😁
England looking very strong.
Happy boy.
Close call that.
Another close call this time for England.
Look who showed up for the game, the Three Lions’ wee mascot...
Awwww. Cute kid.
Prince George
Prince William
and
Kate Middleton?
When she becomes queen, I have no doubt the DM will refer to her as Queen Kate Middleton.
