“ Hope you enjoy Okie!”
Thanks, I’m looking forward to it. Probably next year at the ear, though.
Ear…
Sorry, earliest.
Duh.
U had an alternate home in OKC. Edmund is a VERY nice community. Upper scale. Good stores, homes, area. so much to see and do in OKC> The art museum is small but nice.. the Chuhilly exibit wonderful. Zoo is good but dont go in summer .. HOT HOT HOT. There are a couple areas where you can collect ROSE ROCKS.. very unique. Look um up. The science museum is one of the finest in the country. VAST.. the big tower has a great restaurant on top called VAST.. a little pricey but worth the cost. HWY 66 has so much to see and offer. YOU CANNOT MISS TOPS.. puts a new observation into POP/softdrinks.. and around the corner the round barnl Draper lake (one of the Rose Rock sites) is unique. I took my dogs there a couple times a week. NOT SURE if the grave is underwater.. but if you walk around you might see it.. wont say more. IT IS unique. Now the band from hell is known as bag pipes, banjo, accordion and bongos.. well.. OKC has the Banjo Hall of fame. Im into the turn of century/New Orleans type jazz music.. You will see musical instruments that dazzle.. the director puts on a daily show that is great... oh there is so much more. Then there is the salt fields... looks like winter year round.. acres of salt.. acres. And not too far from Edmond.
Enjoy your kids and be a bit touristy. Im older too and I know how hard it is to maneuver around. The USA has so much to offer.. OKC and the suburbs are just one of the multitude of places with good people, conservative values, Bible based churches , amazing history and attractions, and great restaurants.
The bombimg site is somber, respectful and brings tears to me every time I go there. Again wont say more. Just go.. absorb, reflect, be angry, be proud..
