My letter to Governor DeSantis today:
Dear Honorable Gov. DeSantis;It has recently come to light that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is establishing local offices of her Capitol Police force: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/capitol-police-new-offices-florida-california-threats-congress:

At this time, Florida and California are where the majority of our potential threats are," the U.S. Capitol Police statement to Fox News said. "The field offices will be the first for the Department. A regional approach to investigating and prosecuting threats against Members is important, so we will be working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in those locations. More field offices will be opening in the future."***As innocuous as this seems, I point out that the House of Representatives has no authority to initiate police investigations among the states; they can make 'referrals' to the DoJ and the FBI. Frankly, I question the Constitutionality of the Capitol Police force; admittedly it has been a rather harmless 'crowd control' and 'property security' for the U.S. congress.
I would point out that the Nazi Party in Germany, in its youth in 1923, formed the Saal-Schutz, intended to protect members of the Party at meetings. 'Saal-Schutz' means 'Hall Security' or 'Hall protection' - like the 'Halls of Congress'. Then in 1938 came Kristallnacht, a means for the Party to take secure control of the government. By that time the Saal-Schutz had evolved through to becoming the Schutzkommando (Protection Command), then the Sturmstaffel (Storm Squadron) and finally the Schutzstaffel (Protection Squad) or SS. The new SS protected party leaders throughout Germany but grew into performing intelligence, counter intelligence, a military war arm and control of concentration camps.
I point this out to say that history teaches that such security organizations tend to grow into much more powerful, sinister organs of control. Speaker Pelosi may have found her Kristallnacht in the January 06 disturbance at the Capitol. She has disseminated misstatements about the Capitol intrusions; now that further public evidence has thrown doubt on her claims, she is trying to form a 'bi-partisan' committee to determine the facts of the intrusion.
I submit that the conclusions of that committee have already been written: it was an armed insurrection incited by a political opponent in an opposing party. People keep asking, 'How can the identity of the officer that shot Ashli Babbitt be kept _secret_?' Because the shooter is now a member of the _secret_ police!
I request that you ask the House Speaker to remove her unconstitutional police organ from the state of Florida and submit her needs to the proper authorities: the DoJ and the FBI, not the CIA, the NSA, herself or any other unconstitutional organ of federal law enforcement.

And I do not think the US mil is waiting for more Americans to get active, many already are and increasingly so. I think they’re waiting for the AZ audits to make it into the public view.

I personally think that the county sheriff’s departments ought to arrest the Capital police as soon as they attempt to act in a law enforcement manner.
