It was rough but not as bad as the huge steel slide.

I saw something even worse when we once stopped in Hermosillo, Mexico with a group of middle-school exchange students. In a school playground, they had a tall slide. Instead of a gentle curve at the bottom, it had too straight parts, a long one at a steep angle to slide down, and a short horizontal one where you literally hit bottom. Must have been sponsored by the local chiropractor.
No wonder Mexicans are so short.
