I dont even remember the last time I owned an actual brand-name computer! LOL.

+++++++++++++++

Apparently some laptops don’t survive a spilled cup of coffee with cream nor a glass of lemonade, at least that’s what they said at the computer repair shop.

Did I believe them? Not really. But my son had moved to Colorado by then. They are sitting in cases waiting for him not to be busy. It’s like waiting for Godot lol.

I had an Acer Chrome and didn’t like it, so hubby said he’d try. He loves it. It fell apart just the other day. I mean it works, but the top is coming apart and hanging on by tape. 🤓 (< that’s a nerd face with tape on the glasses!!)

I have a laptop on the table in the spare bedroom, a/k/a my woman cave that’s used mostly for my music and instruments. I have it hooked up to a real monitor and a real keyboard, though. Otherwise I wouldn’t want to use it. Well, even less than I use it anyway. Desktops rule! LOL

My pup, Sterling, is just the right height for his head to bump the power cord on my laptop whenever he wants attention.

I didn’t notice, until it was too late, that every time he bumped it, it jiggled a bit.

The little center spike gizmo is now loose enough that to keep the power cord attached I have to surround it with rope caulk and cover it with electrical tape.

This occurred right around Nov.3rd, and I can’t take it to the one-stop computer shop, because something may happen!!!
