then the blanket was removed. Then N95 was given limited EUA.

I wonder what changed ?
Last week had to go into the imaging center at a large hospital (routine test). I knew a mask was required for entry so brought my N95 with the little respirator valve thingy.
At the main door employee is taking temperatures and making sure everyone is masked. She, nicely, said I couldn't wear the N95 and handed me a surgical mask. I wasn't going to argue, just wanted to get in and out.
I asked her "why not the N95" and she replied it was policy as the N95 can allow particles to get and the surgical masks were "much better".
Sigh
