Possibly, but for what crime, conspiracy or misdeed? I suspect there needed to be an event or series of events for which there was no usual Constitutional remedy in order for the Law of War (LoW) to apply ... specifically, a war against the US in the form of occupancy by a belligerent power. I think it was also imperative that there were certain trusted people in specific positions of power to create the circumstances for both the WH to act, and to be successful after acting.
If that wasn’t so, they would have acted before President Trump was elected. Nobody believes Obama fairly won a second term, so he only won by fraud, so they could have acted then, but they didn’t. They couldn’t trust Romney with their plan even if they could prove that he actually won that election. They seem to have needed PDJT, or someone like him, in place.
The WH saw the 2012 results, knew there was fraud, slowed it enough for the 2016 election, knew it would happen again, and started getting their ducks in a row to monitor and prove the election fraud that allowed the installation of a President controlled by a belligerent power. The circumstances also had to be such that the WH could trust the rightful President to finish the cleanup that the invocation of the LoW policies and procedures started, so the invocation had to be between terms.
If the BH had waited out President Trump’s second term, selected the next Republican loser Presidential candidate, who was going to challenge the fraudulent election results that would facilitate invocation of the Law of War? The designated R/uniparty loser? A President leaving office after his last term? Probably not either. That would have left the military to act alone (Plan Z). They really do want to clean it all up with the least amount of chaos possible.
I’m back to wondering if the BH had simply waited and laid low for 4 more years, would they have been better able to execute their deadly plan for humanity. If the answer to that is ‘yes’, then Q is right. These people are stupid ... thank goodness and God.
