I guess it could be said that the “framework”; meaning (in my pea brain) the Constitution and related procedures that had worked for 243 years, is no longer viable.
Do we write a new Constitution when all is said and done? Use the existing one, and deem violations of Constitutional procedures capital crimes? Not very comforting thoughts. But I think they’re going to have to be faced.
