I had to fly all day on Monday, so had to mask about 10 hours straight.
The mask exacerbated my Rosacea and now two trips to the Dr and two different meds and I am still struggling. Dr said the mask wearing all day trapped moisture in and really aggravated my skin.
Granted my skin is sensitive but this is crazy. I have to fly, so I hope airlines change their ruling soon.
On another note...dil is flight attendant. She has twice had a taxiing plane go back to the gate to have the police take off passengers who would not wear their masks. One she put on the no fly list. It is her responsibility to do this. So crazy. If you are going to fly you know you have to wear a mask. No matter what. So, either suck it up or don fly.
She put them on the No Fly List??
I think we may cancel ANOTHER big trip we have planned (already cancelled HI, as we didnโt want to wear a d@m mask for an 8 hr flight), over this mask nonsense.
This is beyond absurd, as numerous studies AND experts have stated....they donโt work.
I hope your rosacea clears up, fast. Not a comfortable thing to be dealing with, Iโm sure.
I’ve flown quite a few times in the last year and I didn’t suck it up at all. There are ways to get around being suffocated by a mask on an airplane. I’ve employed them. One just has to be creative ๐
Rosacea is one of the conditions that ivermectin is prescribed for in humans. You should ask your doctor for a prescription...
Silver Gel is beneficial in healing Rosacea.
So glad I stopped flying thirty years ago.
What was the reason for the trip; how far was it?
If for work, is there any way you can work via an alternative method, such as work-from-home?
