He was merely acting out the choice he probably made years and years ago. Perhaps in law school or college (GW Law/Columbia). If you go to the dark side (freemasonry) and advance to one of the higher levels, you make a life choice. Very few leave it and survive to tell the story.

Interesting you say this. According to family lore, my mom’s dad was a 32nd degree freemason. He died before I was born so I know nothing about him and my mom died when I was 11. All she would say was he was wonderful and would have spoiled me lol.
But I found out years ago, that he had been married before my grandmother to another woman. The coincidences between this woman and my mother are very odd. My dad has stated emphatically that they did not know about this other marriage.
My grandfather died early, 50 ish of a heart attack? I’m not diggin’ him up to find out.
Was he murdered? Who knows.. however, I did get a letter from a cousin of my mother’s, some years back, stating exactly that.
