I have anecdotal evidence of this through my online bridge experiences. Three different accomplished partners all made rookie mistakes in the play of the hand or in the auction shortly after getting jabbed. The mistakes were so bad that I though a cat must have jumped on the keyboard and made their selection for them. Even they said they didn’t know what they were thinking. I’ve started calling it vaxbrain.

Oh my...I know so much but so little. Bridge on line? I miss so much my bridge playing - been decades. Although I was way back then pretty accomplished(just like Golf and Tennis) I would be a complete beginner at this point. Having a good partner and bidding exchanges are great.
