Friend was AF during Vietnam.(Silver Star, among others) They sent him to school to learn Vietnamese.
He then went to Vietnam and sat in a plane that monitored enemy transmissions.
They tracked their own shoot-down over Laos.
I asked him what were you doing in Laos. He asked me what I was doing in Cambodia.(Rhetorical)
We kinda looked at each other, then talked about other things.
